Happy Halloween, Day of the Dead. (Dia de los Muertos), and Life Shifts book launch!
It’s quite a busy week for me!
What about you? Does your doorbell ring with little trick-or-treaters? Is your neighborhood decorated with ghosts, ghouls, skeletons, and witches?
My street is quiet and not very decorated. Last year I had no trick-or-treaters which was very sad for me. |

Here’s some Halloween humor, I read a definition of W.I.T.C.H. that I loved. Woman In Total Control of Herself! I will definitely keep it in mind the next time someone calls me a witch, and thank them! 🙂 |

Day of the Dead/Dia de los Muertos
In Mexico, November 1st is observed as the Day of the Dead or el Dia de los Muertos. It’s a day, actually beginning on October 31st and ending on November 2nd to honor loved ones who have passed from our present realm into the next.
There are celebrations throughout the country with candles lit, candy skulls (like my mask in the photo), punched paper decorations, altars, favorite foods and drinks, special breads, and gorgeous garlands of marigolds.
In today’s podcast, I talk about the Day of the Dead and the lessons we might learn from it.

If you’re struggling with the effects of a lifequake, know that you’re not alone. Remember that it’s more than okay to take time for self-care and prioritize your emotional well-being.
Seek support from loved ones, join a support group, work with a professional, like me, who specializes in grief. You can schedule a time to chat with me here.
Until the next time, I love and appreciate you,
